Raya began her skin care career in 1963 as a registered nurse in dermatology and cosmetology in the former Soviet Union. In 1979 Raya and her family emigrated to the United States where Raya could pursue her dream in developing a uniquely effective skin care line. With the support of her husband (a former scientist and NASA engineer) and her children (whom are all deeply involved in product production and spa management), she opened Raya Skin Care Salon. This small 1 room skin care studio grew into the multi-story 26-room flagship Raya Skin Care Spa and has become a Los Angeles local favorite and a Skin Care Landmark (35 years). Raya Spa remains at the forefront of the skin care industry. As active members of national and international societies in skin care and cosmetics, and attending conferences of the best cutting-edge science in dermatology, pharmacology, cosmetic chemistry, and other related sciences to stay ahead of the curve. Raya's services and products have been acclaimed in extensive articles printed by the New York Times and Wall Street Journal and dozens of popular magazines and blogs. These accolades, along with the praise of a loyal clientele, attest to the hard work, expertise and enthusiasm ...qualities proven to make Raya products and services distinct and effective.

Raya skin care products are specially manufactured for Raya, and by Raya, since the very beginning. What started in a small production lab with limited capacity, became a 100,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, located just a few miles away from Raya's Skin Care Spa. This has ensured that all products are created with unsurpassed quality control and allows for continuous in-stock supply of all of the 150 unique products available for purchase at Raya Spa or online.

Most of our clients are referred by dermatologists, plastic surgeons, and other satisfied clients through "word of mouth". Our Clients come to us with a variety of different skin conditions such as: severe blemished skin, clogged pores, white heads and blackheads, excessive oiliness or excessive dryness, advanced aging process, withered skin, increased sensitivity, and allergic reactions to air pollutants or makeup. At Raya, it is our goal to help re-balance and restore the skin to a normal condition that can be maintained on a regular basis. Usually, we recommend monthly facials combined with a consistent custom at-home regimen. These practices are not only hygienic, but also prevent pre-mature aging...truly an investment in the future. Our face and body treatments involve a customized, individual approach to each client's needs. Each product we use is unique and stunningly effective in producing outstanding results. The techniques and products used in our skin care treatments are time-proven and based on traditional, scientific European practices, passed down from generations of skin care practitioners, therapists, and dermatologists.
